The recent financial crisis again has shown us the instability of the present financial system. There is hardly any relationship between the real economy and the money in circulation. Our debt-based economy is not able to value ecological and social values. In our opinion, the present financial system has caused a situation in which a small part of the world creates environmental problems because of over-consumption, while a large part of the world is lacking basic needs at the same time. It is very difficult for our leaders to create solutions for this: moving an existing financial structure with all its vested interests into a sustainable direction is extremely hard. This is why we need new financial instruments that enable us, citizens and businesses, to build a CO2 slim economy in which the stakes of all are recognized.
Our gift is this new financial system. Money makes our world go around. Money is not given, but man-made. We can reinvent and redesign it in a way that fits our purpose; equality and serious CO2 reduction. After many years of research and experiments, we have developed the Kiwah, a new financial instrument based on the following principles.
new value based currency, green economy, sustainability
