We (society as a whole) shall never have a clear vision what should be done. The situation is urgent, but the only mission we shall ever come up with will be "We must do as much as we can". I support the mission of cutting CO2 emissions 80 percent by 2020 suggested by Earth Policy Institute (www.earth-policy.org - by the way, their search engine is supported by Google (something this meshwork desperately needs, but I can do nothing about it - good search engines are everywhere, the are not a novelty anymore)) and this meshwork. I don't know how achievable is this goal. I don't actually care. I am ready to do my best (if anyone needs me to do my best) related to renewable energy and sustainability.

There is a paradox that the only way to make this meshwork (or any similar initiative independent of politics and corporations) big (no matter how urgent) is to have active members who are big name out of this realm. Don't expect big names and their egos to come here headfirst. So, the only way is to have active members starting as irrelevant and relatively unknown and becoming bigger. Their growth should be well documented here.

There is no such thing as independent experts/politicians/thinkers. People tend to gather in tribes. That is our natural behaviour. We need to change our tribes in order to deal with changes. I can't do it by myself. You can't do it by yourself. Your status (built under different circumstances), connections or level of acceptance are only a starting point.
