Summary of research report on 2020 Climate Solutions Meshwork
This master thesis has investigated the first 6 months of existence of the 2020 Climate Solutions Meshwork. It has analyzed its development in terms of interaction patterns, trust building and learning among participants and between participants and Meshwork management.
Findings show major challenges in vitality in the 2020 Climate Solutions Meshwork after its initiation in Copenhagen in December 2009. Perceptions of participants, management members and facilitators are brought forward on how development can be improved. Especially the role of Meshweavers / Meshworkers for the blossoming of a Meshwork is investigated.
This sounds very much like a Douglas Engelbart's report after his early experiments with hypertext. It works fine for me. I would have never started thinking about renewable energy without this meshwork as I do now, but now I have one scientific paper about them and two being under consideration. Here you can find an interesting article: http://ir.uiowa.edu/etd/233/ (Innovation As A Complex Adaptive System by Joseph John Engler), especially the part about interactions. We need here a story or two (or three) about a member's journey "from zero to hero". I'll do my best, but I can't guarantee anything. I shall keep on writing here during the next ten years no matter what.
