Some people claim there are six degrees of separation between you and any other person. Between this meshwork, you as a reader and any environmentalist there are less than six degrees of separation. Many activists know about this virtual place. This is the node. If the whole concept of combining environmentalism and online collaboration fails here, it is gone forever. If improvements in (e.g.) functionality, design and content should be done, they must be done right here.
Who am I? I am a person with some knowledge in networking and virtual tools. Some of this knowledge is from education and some of it acquired after reading authors such as Douglas Engelbart (network augmented intelligence), Valentin Turchin (metasystem transition) and Sibout Nooteboom (adaptive networks). I know a thing or two about sustainability and renewable energy.
There should be more new and active members of this meshwork. This is not an average social network of yours where you register and maybe do something more later. The registration should be complete only after a new member posted something.
Surprise me and yourself. Renewable energy and green technologies will either succeed or fail with networks and communities. If you are doing something related to renewable energy or sustainability, then you already know that.
